    SUBMIT YOUR FILMS FOR THE DEAD OF NIGHT FILM FESTIVAL 2019

    The Dead of Night Film Festival returns for a third year brought to you by Two-Headed Snake Entertainment and The Liverpool Horror Club and is part of the ever growing International horror film festival circuit.

    The objective of the festival is to bring new independent horror short and feature length films to the genre loving public of Liverpool.

    With the festival they hope to spark conversations and to get people celebrating genre cinema again with their families, friends new and old and filmmakers.

    Also they are are looking to give audiences the same experience they get when watching their favourite larger budget movies, an experience eyes that every movie should have.

    Independent filmmakers find it hard to get theatrical releases for their movies and this festival wants to help get them the audience they deserve. It’s such an important part of independent cinema and the best way to get the movies seen around the globe.

     

    Last years festival featured 6 feature films and 6 short films, and they were:

     

    Feature Films:

    Book of Monsters

    Await Further Instructions

    Haunters-Art of the Scare

    I’m Dreaming of a White Doomsday

    Skeletons in the Closet

    Lifechanger

     

    Short Films:

    There’s One Inside the House

    Third Wheel

    Homesick

    Stay

    An Eldritch Place

    We Summoned a Demon

     

    The festival organisers will announce the first wave of movies showing at this years festival on the 19th August with details of the full programme announced on the 1st October.

    So if you want to watch new horror movies this October then put these two dates in your diary, 12th/13th October.

    The film festival will screen 6 short and 6 feature films within the genre bracket, there’ll be special guests and a whole lot more fun over this two day extravaganza.

    There is also awards & prizes for the following:

    Best Feature
    Best Short
    Best Director

    The winners will receive the coveted Golden VHS Cassette Award.
