FOUND TV’s Top 5 Winter Horror Films For The Holiday Season

Michael JoyBy Michael Joy5th December 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

This December, FOUND TV invites horror fans to unwrap a new kind of holiday spirit. The platform has curated five winter and holiday-themed found footage films for this season.

Four titles, Hell on the Shelf, The Christmas Tapes, The Devil Complex, and Himalaya, are streaming now. Werewolf Santa and honorable mention, Red Christmas, will premiere on FOUND in December.

“Our holiday lineup celebrates how found footage can twist something familiar into something terrifying,” said Louie La Vella, CEO of FOUND TV. “Each film brings a different kind of fear to the holiday season.”

    Hell on the Shelf

An antique Christmas elf doll terrorizes the occupants of a house. The toy holds the key to decades of buried rage and restless spirits that refuse to stay silent.

    The Christmas Tapes

A family’s movie night on Christmas Eve is interrupted by a stranger intent on filming his own “holiday classic.” What follows is a nightmare that turns the season of giving into one of survival.

    The Devil Complex

Rachel and her team of filmmakers travel to Transylvania, Romania, to document the paranormal phenomena within Hoia-Baciu Forest.

    Himalaya

Cryptozoologist Yuma Sato enters a newly discovered Himalayan ice cave to find the mythical “Snow Ghost.” As his live broadcast unfolds, viewers must decide whether they are witnessing a hoax or a revelation that was never meant to be seen.

    Werewolf Santa

On Christmas Eve, Santa delivers more than presents after a violent bite turns him into something monstrous. This holiday horror blends myth and folklore into a creature feature that leaves no chimney safe. (releasing December 3rd)

    Red Christmas

Tara loves the holidays. She also loves killing. This self-made confession captures her methods in chilling detail as she decorates her victims in the spirit of the season. (releasing December 5th)

“FOUND TV was built by filmmakers who love the genre,” La Vella added. “Curating collections like this keeps the format alive and gives independent creators a place to be seen.”
