Based on true events, Borley Rectory: The Awakening revolves around the haunting of the Rectory, with its origins tied to the early 1900s. Reverend Henry Bull and his sister Kitty take over the family home, only to be greeted by frightening paranormal activity. As the disturbances escalate, the Bull family must enlist the help of a family friend, an expert in the occult, to uncover the secrets behind the restless spirits tormenting their home.
Filmmaker Steven M. Smith, whose previous works include The Ghosts of Borley Rectory and Sweeney Todd: Slice & Dice, takes the helm as director of this spine-tingling film. Written by Smith and Christopher Jolley, Borley Rectory: The Awakening promises an unsettling mix of ghostly apparitions, suspense, and moments that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
