Since her fabulous role as Ethel in CRAZY FAT ETHEL (2016) Dixie Gers has been very busy in front of the camera with roles in the upcoming films TRULY, MADLY directed by Brian Dorton, the horror musical KILL DOLLY KILL, Tristan Clay’s INVERTED, and the hospital horror DEATH CARE.
Now comes news that she has been very busy behind the camera as well with not only writing but also directing her first short film, PIGGY (from Headless Cat Productions) which she also stars in.
PIGGY was selected as a semi-finalist for the Women In Horror Film Festival, although it won’t actually show at the festival this is a huge honour indeed.
Synopsis:
In a perfect world everyone would be accepted for the way they look. But this is not a perfect world. This is her world. The world of Piggy. Picked on, bullied, used, and abused. Hell hath no fury like when Piggy is scorned.
