HORROR SCREAMS VIDEO VAULT – SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT HORROR

HUSH ***** USA 2015 Dir: Michael G Kehoe. 6 mins

College student babysitter suffers a power cut during a raging thunderstorm and tries to comfort a sleepless kid who is terrified of something in the bedroom. Reassurance follows in the form of proving there’s nothing in the closet, under the bed…Eerily shot and well-acted, this excels with a suspenseful, highly creepy build-up before paying off with a magnificently unsettling final line of dialogue and an awesome, nightmare-inducing reveal. It all adds up to a marvellously scary calling card for director Michael Kehoe.
