After the title has appropriately appeared in huge, bold, PINK letters, this engaging black comedy tells the story of a young woman’s intense desire to kill her abrasive, relentlessly insulting roommate (played hilariously by director / writer Zach Noe Towers), considering that his untimely death will be a merciful release for both the world at large and himself. Promising her reluctantly complicit boyfriend that the act will be quick and easy, she sets about fulfilling a murderous plan that involves a camping trip and a can of bug spray. What could possibly go wrong? Towers’ scene-stealing portrayal of the cheerfully offensive friend-from-hell (with a barrage of un-PC comments about weight, sexuality, dead moms and physical imperfections) buoys a witty, highly entertaining farce with a satisfying punchline.
