“Tales from Bonnivar Park” – Next “Whispers” Movie Coming This Year [Exclusive]

The fourth installment in The Whisper horror franchise expands its universe through a chilling anthology format

A new chapter in independent horror is on the horizon as Whispers: Tales from Bonnivar Park prepares for release later this year. Serving as the fourth film in The Whisper franchise, this ambitious anthology project brings together multiple filmmakers to explore one of the series’ most haunting locations – Bonnivar Park.

Long rumored within the universe of Whispers, Bonnivar Park has become synonymous with fear – a place tied to unexplained disappearances, disturbing encounters, and local legend. Tales from Bonnivar Park dives deep into these stories, presenting a collection of interconnected segments that reveal the terrifying truth behind the park’s dark past.

At the center of the film is Jack Rivers, portrayed by Boyan Dimitrov – a sharp and skeptical independent reporter known for pursuing cases others avoid. As whispers of multiple disappearances begin to surface, Jack investigates the mystery, interviewing witnesses and uncovering connections between each story. His journey becomes the narrative backbone of the film, tying together the anthology’s chilling events into a larger, unfolding conspiracy.

The film also stars Virginia Andonova, Simona Bogdanova, and Eleonora Spasova, with more casting announcement to be revealed soon.

Directed by a diverse lineup of filmmakers – including Miroslav Petkov, Philip Brocklehurst, Gary Davies, Justice Herrera-Whitney, Mark KlazyK, and Johnny Lektrik – the film embraces a multi-director format that delivers a range of horror styles, from psychological tension to supernatural terror, all unified within a single narrative thread.

Building upon the foundation established in previous Whispers films for Tales from Bonnivar Park expands the franchise’s universe, offering audiences both standalone stories and deeper insight into the forces lurking beneath the surface.

The movie is expected to be released in Q4 2026.
