‘CRAZY FAT ETHEL’ STAR NEEDS YOUR HELP WITH ‘THE FEEDING’

    Dixie Gers is currently working on her debut directorial film, the short film THE FEEDING. You may know Dixie as the title character in CRAZY FAT ETHEL (2016), but she also starred in KILL DOLLY KILL: DOLLY DEADLY 2, and will also star in the upcoming film DEATH CARE featuring Linnea Quigley amongst others.


    Dixie’s first short film titled THE FEEDING is going to be a creature feature about what lengths people will go to for love.

    On board so far is Athena Prychodko (Crazy Fat Ethel, The Redsin Tower) who will be playing creature. Also Douglas Conner is part of the team as cinematographer, as well as a victim in the film. The aim is to start filming this fall.

    The project is aiming to raise funds for the project on GoFundMe and has a goal of $600. There is some perks available to those who contribute towards the project which include:

    $5 donation: social media shout out

    $10 donation: thank you in credits 

    $15 donation: cast signed poster (and previous 2 perks) 

    $20 donation: copy of film, thank you in credits, and social media shout out 

    $50 donation: corpse! Be a corpse with a few seconds of screen time in the film (filming in August/ lodging and travel not provided) 

    $100 donation: producer credit, copy of film, signed poster, and thank you in credits
