‘Limp’ is the 10th short film by independent film company ARK Pictures. The film is an absurd dark comedy about an off-kilter match-making event in a village hall. It addresses topics on mental health and social structure, as well as considering psychological and psychoanalytical concepts like unconscious desire.
Their biggest and most ambitious film project to date, ARK Pictures hope to raise £10,000 through new crowdfunding platform Greenlit in order to get the film into production, to be able to pay the cast and crew, pay for the location, props and set.
Actors Gary Trainor and Darren Kent have already joined the project with more cast members to be announce in the near future.
