Sean Whalen (The People Under the Stairs) is busy on his passion project CRUST a wacky horror-comedy that’s being directed by Sean Whalen. The film will star Alan Ruck (“Succession”) and star Daniel Roebuck (The Munsters), Rebekah Kennedy (Two Witches), Shawntay Dalon (Detroiters), Felissa Rose (Terrifier 2), Ricky Dean Logan (Back to the Future franchise) and Daniel John Kearney (Dark Circles).
Producers on the creature feature heading into production in Los Angeles in April include Sean Whalen, Felissa Rose, Ricky Dean Logan, Daniel John Kearney and The Soska Sisters – Jen and Sylvia Soska.
Written by Sean Whalen and Jim Wald, CRUST tells the story of a lonely laundromat owner, Vegas Winters (Whalen), who keeps the leftover socks from customers and uses them to clean himself. When he gets abused and weeps into the pile of socks, it turns into a creature who seeks revenge on Vegas’ enemies.
The project is currently raising funds via a Indiegogo crowdfunder and has already smashed its target but of course every extra penny will help. There are plenty of perks still up for grabs including signed socks by Sean Whalen, signed photos of the cast, Blu-rays and so much more.
