Blood Moon Pictures brings you their latest holiday slasher NEW FEARS EVE from writer/producer/director P.J. Starks (13 Slays Till X-Mas, Cryptids), producer/director Eric Huskisson (VOB: Horror Stories, 13 Slays Till X-Mas) and producers Jeffrey Reddick, Felissa Rose, and Dave Sheridan. This horror comedy was filmed entirely in Owensboro, Kentucky during the first quarter of 2023. Special Effects were handled by Taintbad Productions’ Stephen J. Hodke (Stranded, Wicked Ones) with assistance by Isa Blair Morales and Blaze Bolden.
SYNOPSIS:
NEW FEARS EVE, follows three best friends who involuntarily prepare for Hooper Industries’ annual New Year’s Eve party, which turns deadly when a murderer sets his sights on them.
NEW FEARS EVE has earned an impressive list of accolades, winning Best Horror Comedy at both the Chicago Horror Film Festival and the NYC Horror Film Festival. At the 2024 Wolf Media Festival, the film swept multiple categories, including Best Supporting Male Actor, Best New Male Lead, Best Female Lead, Best New Director, Best Cinematography, Best Horror Comedy, as well as receiving the Committee Select Award and the L.Y.C.A.N. Award. In addition, the film won Audience Choice at the HorrorHound Film Festival and Best Ensemble Cast at Days of the Dead.
