In 1978 Gus and Ben, two teenagers, are abducted by an alien force. Forty years later they are still living with the effects of that night. Ben has become an alcoholic and Gus has been hiding his true origins. Both have tried to cope in their own way, but nothing has worked. Flashing between 1978 and 2019, our protagonists are challenged at every point by friends and family, some of them still demanding to know what happened to the duo that night all those years ago.

Cassian Wahldrov returns home to the town of Black Mountain, following the disappearance of his autistic younger brother Manny. Together with his sister Mae, Cassian sets out to find Manny. Their efforts are quickly overshadowed by a strange force that both splits them up and slowly picks them apart.

OCCULT BOLSHEVISM

In a large industrial space installed with microphones and portraits of Stalin and Lenin, a group of people gather to share their experience of contacting the realm of the dead. As the séance unfolds, the space is overtaken by strange phenomena and the group descends into collective “revolutionary” madness.
