PSYCHOS ** U.S.A. 2017 Dir: Sandy Chukhadarian 81 mins
Three young women receive a video from an anonymous number. Realising that the videos contain images of what happened to them ten years ago, they go on a mission to track down the sender of the video and end their sick twisted ways once and for all.
Another psychological thriller that is being far to clever for its own good. This is a shame as with a bit more structuring to the story it could have been really good but ultimately turns out like a bad episode of CSI. Everyone involved acts fairly decent enough but it seems like they aren’t really trying to take it that step further with their characters. Whoever was in charge of continuity in this film should really go back to class. A prime example of continuity being off is a police officer picks up an item and puts it down, then a few seconds later in the next scene he is back to holding it. How any of these blatant errors wasn’t picked up in editing is beyond me. Apart from these errors the film is just about watchable and is very formulaic of the films it tries to be.
