FOUND TV Acquires New Original Film Go to Sleep Ahead of Festival Premiere and Global Streaming Launch

FOUND TV, the dedicated home for found footage horror, has announced its latest FOUND Original, Go to Sleep, a psychological found footage feature from director Steven Espinoza and writer/star Chris Vander Kaay. The film will make its debut at the inaugural Recovered Reels Festival in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, before launching globally on FOUND TV.

Go to Sleep follows a recently single man living in a new house who discovers that his nighttime sleepwalking habits have become unusual and dangerous, and he may not be alone.

The film marks a continued collaboration between FOUND TV and emerging independent creators, reinforcing the platform’s focus on supporting filmmakers working within the found footage space. Vander Kaay, whose previous microbudget feature .ask gained attention within the genre community, brings a similarly intimate and resourceful approach to this new project through his production banner, We Are Your Neon.

“My first film only cost $250, and it was well received by the found footage community, which I’m thankful for,” said Vander Kaay. “That little movie brought us to Found TV to make Go to Sleep, so that $250 has really paid off for us.”

Following its festival debut, Go to Sleep will become available to stream on FOUND TV, which operates in over 100 countries and offers both free-with-ads access and premium FOUND TV+ memberships. The release adds to the platform’s growing slate of FOUND Originals, which are designed to expand the boundaries of found footage storytelling while staying true to its immersive, in-world approach.

“Projects like Go to Sleep are exactly why we built FOUND,” said Louie La Vella. “It’s about giving filmmakers the opportunity to take risks and tell stories that might not fit traditional systems, while still reaching a global audience that truly understands the genre.”
