TAKE TWO STUDIOS BRINGS “VAMPIRES” TO KINGS OF HORROR

Michael JoyBy Michael Joy12th April 2025No Comments2 Mins Read

In January, on the heels of their successful Fright Night Live, Kenny Scott Guffey and Denny Kidd of Take Two Studios signed an exclusive contract with Kings of Horror to bring more content to the streamer. Their upcoming outing, Those Darn Vampires, another one-night-only live event, is a product of that newly inked deal.

Written by Rollin Jewett based on his film American Vampire, the live event will see Trevor Lissauer and Danny Hitt return to the world in which they first appeared in 1997–but this time as different characters!

Directed by Kenny Scott Guffey and Produced by Denny Kidd, Those Darn Vampires features an electrifying new cast starring Ryan Ott (Kings of Horror Presents Tom Holland’s Fright Night) as Frankie, Donald R. Napier as Bogie, Trevor Lissauer as Moondoggie, Melanie Nix as Sulka, Natasha Vogt as Katrina, and Danny Hitt as The Big Kahuna.

The project also features Kenny Bristow, Poe Fogle, Joseph Quentin Graves, Tommy Dishman, Tyler Fish, and Denise Phipps.

Jewett’s script follows a teenage boy named Frankie (Ott) who, while his parents are away, finds his home beset upon by a clan of vampires. The original film featured Trevor Lissauer as Frankie and Danny Hitt as his best friend Bogie.

Take Two Studios is owned by Chris Hooten and Kenny Scott Guffey. Guffey is the face of the company along with Marketing Manager Denny Kidd. Several cast members here also appeared in Take Two’s Fright Night Live in January including Danny Hitt and Rollin Jewett himself! Brianna Phipps has served as the Production Manager for both projects.

In addition to Fright Night, Take Two has recently wrapped a documentary about musician Rick Nelson’s last performance in Guntersville, Alabama, currently in post-production and slated for release this summer, and they are soon to roll cameras on an action thriller, 77, at the end of April.

Those Darn Vampires premieres Thursday, April 17th at 7pm EST ONLY on Kings of Horror.
