Egerton Crescent Productions announces that the dark fantasy / horror film, “The Prince, the Sister, and the Serpent” goes into production the summer of 2026.
The film explores the Greek Mythology of Cadmus, the legendary Phoenician prince and founder of Thebes. This epic adventure is poised to be a cinematic experience with a new story as grand as the Greek legends of Hercules or Perseus. The movie will be filming in the Mediterranean with director Omar Parker at the helm.
Omar Parker, Charles Burt, Amy Burt, and Abraham Mejorado will serve as producers. Omar has an extensive relationship with the Mahal Empire serving a Executive Producer on Devil’s Knight, Arena Wars, Camp Pleasant Lake, Bermuda Island, Cursed Waters, Bikers vs Werewolves, Alien Horde, and The Apex Predators Club.
Synopsis: A prince attempts to rescue his sister from the gods, but incurs a divine curse that dooms his bloodline. With his wife at his side, he must find a way to break the cycle of suffering before the gods reduce his legacy to ruin.
Since 2015, Egerton Crescent Productions has been making important movies, including official Cannes selections in the shorts category “Damiana” and “Eden.” Their films, “Ultraviolet” and “Mud,” were official selections at Sundance. Egerton’s “Luz: The Flower of Evil” was an official selection at the Sitges Film Festival in Spain, and is currently airing on Peacock in the United States.
