WISHMASTER’s Star Andrew Divoff join’s Academy Award nominee and three-time Golden Globe nominee Eric Roberts (Babylon), Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior), Richard Tyson (Black Hawk Down) and Jimmy Drain (Realm of Shadows) the cast of the upcoming feature film ”The Dead Rose”.
This much anticipated film follows Robby Duray (Drain) as his faith is put to the test when he is seduced into the corrupt world of organized crime, extortion and violence; masked in the form of an underground cult threatening to take over the world.
Divoff plays KANDLE, the charasmatic and powerful owner of an amusement park called ‘Jack’s Island’. Kandle offers Robby, who’s lost in his grief over his father’s impending death, a fatherly hand, Though Kandle appears to offer Robby friendship and a sort of mentorship, Kandle’s motives are sinister and dangerous. Rachel Alig (The Cleaning Lady), Jon Mack (Kill Chain), Donnie L. Betts (Switchback), Harley Wallen (Ash and Bone), Erika Monet Butters (Realm of Shadows) and Natasha Coppola-Shalom (Shoot From The Hip) rounds out the cast.
The Dead Rose will follow director/writer Drain’s acclaimed REALM OF SHADOWS co-produced by Emmy award winning Safier Entertainment.
Adrian Croom will be the film’s composer. The Dead Rose is co-produced by Joseph Williamson, Bob Bagnall, Jimmy Drain, Andreas Schönhofen, Mark Flemmich and ThunderKnight Entertainment LTD.
