Horror Comedy Cartoon Series, Meat the Carvers

From the twisted minds at Cinema Dojo, creators Samson Cornette and Daniel Nation comes “Meat the Carvers,” an audacious new animated series that carves out it’s own niche in the horror-comedy landscape. This off-kilter show follows the macabre misadventures of the Carver family, a clan of supernatural misfits trying to balance family life with their innate urges for chaos and carnage.

Led by Delores Carver, a pyrokinetic witch voiced by horror icon Felissa Rose (“Sleepaway Camp,” “Victor Crowley”), and her devoted husband, Victor, a Jason Voorhees-inspired slasher who runs the family deli, the Carvers are anything but your typical suburban family. The cast is rounded out by their vampire son, Damien, ghost daughter, Eve, and Delores’s feline confidant, Lucius. Add to the mix Victor’s scheming puppet brother, Jack, and you have a recipe for delightful disorder.

“Meat the Carvers” boasts an impressive voice cast, including Sam Cornette in multiple roles, and guest appearances by Dave Sheridan (“Scary Movie,” “The Devil’s Rejects”) and Frank Dietz (“Zombie Nightmare,” “Black Roses”). Dietz portrays Malachi Mysterium, a character inspired by legendary horror host Zacherley. The show also features cameos from pop culture enthusiasts Jay and Matt of the Purple Stuff podcast.

Each episode serves up a unique blend of horror tropes, pop culture references, and dark humor. From mob entanglements resulting in cannibalistic meatballs to psychedelic journeys through classic horror films, “Meat the Carvers” pushes the boundaries of animated storytelling.

Creator Samson Cornette says, “We wanted to create a show that honors classic horror while adding our own twisted sense of humor. ‘Meat the Carvers’ is our love letter to the genre, served with a side of absurdity and a sprinkle of family values – however warped those may be.”

“Meat the Carvers” is set to slice into the animation scene, offering viewers a rare blend of horror, humor, and heart. It’s a show that proves family can be horrifying in the best possible way.
