Hype House Media’s comedy-horror film ‘Bodies Will Tumble And Fall’ starring Chelsea Rendon (Netflix: Bright), Luz Ozuna (American Gangster: Trap Queens), Carolina Reynoso (Hats), Adriane McLean (Reversal) and introducing Tyler Shelley and Kyesa Turner, will be making its world premiere at this year’s Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival on June 4th at the TCL Chinese Theater and TCL Chinese 6 in Hollywood.
Written and directed by Eli Vazquez, with the support of the LALIFF and Netflix Fellowship, ‘Bodies Will Tumble And Fall’ follows a dysfunctional black and brown cheer squad who, after getting into another brawl at a cheer meet, their coach says enough is enough. They are shipped away to a cabin in the woods for the weekend with one mission – to learn how to become a team. Each cheerleader brings their own attitude, issue, and insecurities as they struggle to get along. One in particular Rosa, cheer captain and hot head, until one night, all hell breaks loose. They wake up to find not only their coach missing but creepy men from across the woods who may have taken her. All hope seems lost until Rosa steps up and motivates her team to agree to save their coach from the killers across the woods. Now they must suit up in skirts, glitter make-up. Gear up with tasers and bats in hand to save the day and be the leaders they were always meant to be.
Eli Vazquez’s ‘Bodies Will Tumble And Fall’ was selected as one of the five filmmakers from the Afro Latino inclusion Fellowship Series, sponsored by Netflix.
‘Bodies Will Tumble And Fall’ was filmed on location in Pine Mountain in Southern California. The movie premieres at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival on June 4th at the TCL Chinese Theater and TCL Chinese 6 in Hollywood.
