GHOST TOWN KILLER is a detective story about the post-truth world. The story follows paranormal investigator turned journalist Lilith Black in the search for her sister’s killer within her isolated hometown which is on the verge of financial ruin. Lilith comes to realize that facts don’t always change minds as she goes up against long-standing prejudices in her town to find the killer.
The series is six episodes long and will be releasing weekly. Written and produced by Marcy Waughtal and Jeremy Lutter (who both worked together on Giltrude’s Dwelling) are filmmakers who adopted the podcast format as a way to tell a story safely in the Age of Covid. For their experienced Television actors, remotely recording an audio drama was a first for them too.
The cast of the podcast includes stars in the genre space, with the protagonist played by rising star Dalila Bela, best known for her recurring role on Netflix’s ANNE WITH AN E, https://www.instagram.com/
