As pre-production continues on the hugely anticipated horror-comedy THE TRUE TALE OF OLE SPLITFOOT VS. THE LESBIAN WARRIOR NUNS OF THE GREAT WHITE NORTH casting announcements have begun to be released to the public. The first of these announcements comes today as the team behind the film has released the first names in what is soon to be become an all-star cast. Actors Michael Paré (Mayday, Bone Tomahawk, The Philadelphia Experiment) and Robert Lasardo (Nip/Tuck, The Mule) have officially joined the cast in two key roles. The news marks the first of several cast announcements for the film including an impending casting call for several still available roles. The film from Horror-Fix Pictures and Silver Compass Studios in association with CinemaSlice is set to shoot this November with director Massimiliano Cerchi at the helm.
To celebrate the announcement the team has also released a new poster to accompany the news.
Synopsis:
Set in a remote Canadian town ,whose only industry is the local maple syrup processing plant, a group of lesbian warrior nuns, posing as strippers, stand guard, vigilant; the last defense against the hordes of Satan.
Late one chilly, northern night strip club The Beaver Dam! becomes the final battleground for the forces of good and evil to go head to head as a young mother frantically looks to protect her child from certain damnation!
