DRACULA PARTY RELEASE GIALLO THEMED MUSIC VIDEO

Peter 'Witchfinder' HopkinsBy Peter 'Witchfinder' Hopkins2nd August 2019No Comments2 Mins Read

The new Seattle Industrial band, Dracula Party have released their giallo themed music video, “Trick or Treat” from their debut EP, “The Devil Wears a Mask”, now available on all digital music platforms.

The video was Directed and Edited by Dracula Party vocalist/lyricist, Horror filmmaker Byron C. Miller. Byron previously directed THE ANATOMY OF MONSTERS (2016) Artsploitation Films, NIGHT (2006) Brain Damage Films, and is currently on the film festival circuit as Writer, Editor of the award winning short film, (IN HERE) I AM GOD which plays 11th August 11 at TCL Chinese 6 Theatre as an Official Selection to the Hollyshorts Film Festival.

“I wanted this to feel like a modern successor to the great 70s Giallo flms. I love working with saturated colors and surreal imagery to create nightmarish realities. It was great collaborating with the multi talented actress, Kay Whitney (Tall Men, Z Nation), who really dived into the lead role. I also have to give a shout out to long time collaborator, Paul Morgan (The Anatomy of Monsters), for his lush cinematography, and my wife, Shelly Smith, for the stupendous Production Design.“ – Byron C. Miller

“The Devil Wear’s a Mask” EP by Dracula Party features 5 tracks:

“Fright Night 4 Real“: A hard hitting dance floor killer and tribute to Tom Holland’s classic film.

“Trick or Treat“: A pulsating beat takes you through an iconic slasher story inspired by Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.

“Death Machines“: Based on a film idea by Byron, this gltichy track takes you to a world of Killer Robots while also serving as a tribute to a “Metal Monster” films (The Terminator, Hardware, Death Machine, Westworld, Saturn 3.)

“The Last Illusion“: Haunted beats take you into a world of dark magik inspired by Clive Barker and Lovecraft.

“The Becoming“: A stripped down, dirty cover of one of the best Nine Inch Nails tracks.
