In the small town of Stillwater something sinister is lurking in the surrounding woods. An old lady played by Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi, ‘STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION‘) has been protecting the town folk for years but when she dies the town is over run with wolves.
The bodies of the wolves victims slowly appear around the town leaving Sheriff Adam (Eric Balfour, ‘HAVEN‘) to lead a group of townsfolk out to exterminate the threat. They do have help in the form of Samantha the grand-daughter of the old lady who has become a werewolf-zombie girl. One of the sheriffs deputies describes her as CREXY (crazy + sexy = Crexy) which is a bit of a stretch. Samantha helps them clear the wolves away before disappearing and soon the den mother is revealed. A giant cgi werewolf that attacks the town but with Samanthas help and her trusty sword she kills the den mother saving the day….but wait theres an even bigger threat then the werewolf for this film as it ends with a setup to a possible sequel. This has a good cast but Bianca A. Santos (‘OUIJA‘) is just plain boring as Samantha. You do get to see real wolves in the attack scenes which was nice to see done as it could have been made worse with cgi wolves. A dull attempt at a werewolf story that at best will fill your Saturday night while you are waiting for the pizza to arrive.
