10 years ago the sleepy suburb of Havenwood was placed under a dark cloud as a string of unsolved murders was committed by a masked killer known only as ‘The Ripper’. Still haunted by the killings the town have chosen to bury this part of their gruesome history but someone doesn’t want them to forget as a new series of killings has begun and the bodies of teenage victims start to pile up throughout town.
This is a long slasher film but well worth the time spent watching it as the story is deep and if scenes were cut out of it I’m sure the film will lose some of its traction. It even has its own theme song in the style of ‘SLEEPAWAY CAMP’ called ‘Demons Of The Night’ which is perfectly played on a walkman while one of our first victims is stalked Michael Myers style to her death. Manny Serrano has created a pure love letter to 1980’s slasher movies with ‘BLOOD SLAUGHTER MASSACRE’. So if you like 1980’s slashers, boobs and lots of the red sticky stuff check out this flick.
