Fabulous Films will be releasing series 2 of RESIDENT ALIEN on Blu-ray & DVD on 4th September 2023.
A comedy murder mystery/sci-fi drama series based on the Dark Horse comic book series by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse and adapted for television by five-time Emmy nominee Chris Sheridan, who has been a writer on Family Guy for 20 years. This Blu-ray and DVD set both contain all 16 episodes from the hit second season.
The series pays homage to various sci-fi hits with it’s guest actors which include Linda Hamilton from The Terminator, Terry O’Quinn from Lost and George Takei from Star Trek.
Real people are interviewed in Season 2 – as part of a documentary that has people telling their experiences with alien encounters. One of the participants is Dark Horse Founder and CEO Mike Richardson who is also one of the executive producers of the series. Richardson talks about a UFO sighting he had when he was a child.
Season 3 of RESIDENT ALIEN has finished filming and will air on SYFY date tbc.
Synopsis:
An alien crash lands on Earth and must pass himself off as small-town human
doctor Harry Vanderspeigle. Arriving with a secret mission to kill all humans, Harry starts off living
a simple life… but things get a bit rocky when he’s roped into solving a local murder and realises
he needs to assimilate into his new world.
