How did you get attached to Camp Pleasant Lake?

Had met Tom on another movie set. So when this he was launching this he messaged me.

    Who inspires your creativity?

Stephen King. I grew up in Northern Maine about an hour from the Kings. His writing and how he captures the charters as Mainers is incredible. Also the Kings go above and beyond helping their community is just wonderful. That inspires me.

How is it working with Tom Walton?

Tom is a good man. He helps others and always stands up for what’s right. I have a lot of respect for him and his whole crew.

Tell us your biggest obstacle while working in the film industry?

the biggest obstacle is making sure I’m not away for important family events or holidays. Also most of the production companies I work with are on the west coast but I live on the east coast. With all the travel you can get burned out quickly.

What has been your most challenging role?

Steffy in Night of The Tommyknockers. I had to take riding lessons for my scene on the horse and had to take lessons to shoot a 1890’s Colt so I could fan bullets off the balcony of the saloon.

What has been your most memorable moment from Camp Pleasant Lake?

Listing to the actors stories from the set. Everyone had such a great time filming.

What attracts you to the horror genre?

I love the suspense just before the bad thing happens.

What is your favorite decade for horror?

Oh do not have just one. 1963 The Birds. 1978 Halloween. 1979 Salems Lot. 1980 Friday The 13th. 1987 The Lost Boys and 1996 Scream.

What’s the best piece of advice you were ever given?

    Follow your dreams.

    What’s next for Lisa Hinds?

I already have movies lined up through March of 2023. But my big one is a Pirate movie that will film in St Thomas next summer and that is a Mahal Empire Production movie.
