Xpiation, Carnal Monsters, Symbolicus Vol. I and Théorie de la religion are coming to Blu-ray in April via DarkStar Films and BlackMafia Films, the new two film distribution companies specialized in horror and extreme cinema.

The four horror / extreme / underground films come in a Standard / Ultralimited edition of 50 copies (numbered Blu-ray + card + slipcase) and will be available on april 26
exclusively on Goredrome, the new online shop dedicated to the sale of horror items and DVDs/Blu-rays from various distribution companies.

    DARKSTAR FILMS:

Xpiation (Italy – 2018) from director Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Nightmare Symphony) and writer Andrea Cavaletto (Hidden in the Woods) is an extreme film starring Chiara Pavoni (Demonium, Hyde’s Secret Nightmare). The soundtrack is by Antony Coia (House of Flesh Mannequins, The Obsessed).

Synopsis: in a large isolated cellar, a mysterious aristocratic woman asks to a drug addict to torture a hispanic guy while she films the escalation of violence with a camera.

Carnal Monsters (UK – 2021) is a low budget horror slasher film written and directed by Joe Cash.
The story follows a group of girls who come across two people who have been tortured only to find out they themselves are about to be picked off one by one in the most bizarre ways.

Carnal Monsters is a homage to Troma’s The Toxic Avenger.

(Le vendicatrici tossiche is the italian version of Carnal Monsters).

Symbolicus Vol. I (2021) is an extreme horror anthology project developed by Marcus Koch (100 Tears, AGP: Bloodshock) and consists of works from 13 different filmmakers from around the world (Patrick Fortin, Kasper Juhl, James Bell, Victor Bonacore…).

Symbolicus Vol. I defies the boundaries of traditional filmmaking, dismissing the concepts of genre or narrative.

    BLACKMAFIA FILMS:

Directed by Frédérick Maheux, the extreme film Théorie de la religion (Canada – 2010) focuses on the life of a man who vents his frustrations on a mannequin, opening the door to his most twisted fantasies to satisfy his sexual desires.
