EXILED The Hybrid Series – Book 5 by Nick Stead
Nick has been living in Canada for three years in constant wolf form along with a pack of wolves when he transforms back to find that he has aged out of his teenage body and into that of a full-grown man. On top of that, he is psychologically more human than ever and intent on rescuing Lady Sarah and Zee who have been captured. However, the Slayers have had three years to prepare their latest technology, and Nick is under the control of Jaken who forces him to hunt down a magical weapon. The quests send Nick and his remaining allies on a worldwide wild goose chase full of dangerous encounters and a greater understanding of the supernatural world that he now calls his existence.
Exiled is another long and intricate entry into the continuation of Nick’s werewolf journey. He is still the new kid on the block, and further deep diving into the supernatural world is still mind-blowing to him. On top of that, he is continually getting into near-death scraps and scuffles with zombies, vampires, and Slayers to name a few, to the point where there is almost no situation that he can’t fight his way out of, or be saved from. Book 5 in the series offers more of the story’s brutal, gory fight sequences, unique twists on classic horror tropes, and a growing cast of characters that play into the ever-expanding world of the Hybrid series.
