NECROPHILIAC & THE KILLER GIMPS ** U.K. 2017 Dir: Jason Impey, Kieran Johnston 77 mins
With a title like NECROPHILIAC & THE KILLER GIMPS you expect to be faced with some of the strangest stuff ever to grace a T.V. screen. While Jason Impey and Kieran Johnston do give us some of that, some would see this British anthology horror as tame in comparison to its title. With the running theme being about death we do get a mixture of shorts shot in various ways and heading into other horror sub-genres. While it is hard to pin down which of the shorts is the best, it is worth noting that both directors have a good enough knowledge of the genre to give everyone at least something they will like. Plus how many films do you get to see a Nazi dominatrix, a pregnant necrophiliac enjoying herself, and a gimp coming back from the grave! Underground film just got weirder folks.
